With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

Your Pre-Order is prioritized (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or dispatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

Prelaunch

With Prelaunch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Preorders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address for the item you are interested in, and we will email you as soon as stock arrives in the system.

Estimated Shipping & Collection Dates

Estimated Shipping & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indicative purposes only and can change at any time without notice.

The dates we provide are based on information given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavor to update the Estimated Shipping & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Returns and Shipping

SHIPPING (Continental U.S.)

  • Once placed, most online orders ship within one to two business day. Bike purchases that require shipment will take an additonal two to four days for processing and packaging. Orders placed after 12pm CST on Fridays through Sundays will process on the following Monday.
  • Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.
  • We do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.

IN-STORE PICKUP

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to assemble. We will call, text or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders must be picked up within 30 days, after which time the items will be returned to the shop and in-store credit issued under the purchaser's name.

BACKORDERS

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.

RETURNS

We hope you love your purchase from Pete's Garage, but if you don't we'll make every effort to exchange or refund your purchase. Please see below for details of our return policy:

  • All bicycle sales are FINAL.
  • Full priced items are eligible for exchage or refund within 30 days of the purchase. Eligible items must remain in new, unused condition with all original packaging intact. Proof of purchase required.
  • Sale items are eligable for in-store credit or exchange only. Proof of purchase required.
  • Closeout items or clearance items (defined as any items marked below 50% of MSRP) are FINAL SALE.
  • Specail order items are subject to a 20% restocking fee upon return.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Payment in full is required before special orders will be placed. Returns on special order items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

Warranty claims will be addressed in a manner consistent with the manufacturer's guidelines and only on items purchased at Pete's Garage. In instances where the manufacturer does not cover labor, charges will apply to execute warranty repairs.

The Mag-Tank™ 2000 Bolt-On utilizes the same proven, zipper-free magnetic access of the Mag-Tank™ but boasts 50% greater capacity and attaches via top tube bolt bosses.

Named after its calorie holding capacity, the Mag-Tank™ 2000 has a tapered wedge shape that gives it impressive volume while still offering a lean profile at its base. A locking cam provides a secure front attachment and utilizes an adjustable daisy chain to allow clearance for stems. The bag's closed cell foam padded base and stiffened side panels provide protection and structure for food and electronics with the ease of fast, one handed access.

The Mag Tank 2000 excels at fast on-the-go access to calories and resupplies. New for Spring 2024 is a TPU liner built from the same material as hydration bladders. The liner is easily detachable with velcro for post ride cleaning. No more sticky food messes after your long rides – just pure convenience and functionality.

  • Two sets of mounting holes on bag bottom to allow bolt-on attachment to top tube
    • First set of mounting holes spaced 76 mm (+/- 2 mm) from front of bag
    • Second set of mounting holes spaced 100 mm (+/- 2 mm) from front of bag
    • Distance between mounting holes is 64 mm (standard water bottle cage spacing)
  • Velcro secured, padded bag bottom conceals mounting bolts
