Your Pre-Order is prioritized (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or dispatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

With Prelaunch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Preorders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address for the item you are interested in, and we will email you as soon as stock arrives in the system.

Estimated Shipping & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indicative purposes only and can change at any time without notice.

The dates we provide are based on information given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavor to update the Estimated Shipping & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Returns and Shipping

SHIPPING (Continental U.S.)

  • Once placed, most online orders ship within one to two business day. Bike purchases that require shipment will take an additonal two to four days for processing and packaging. Orders placed after 12pm CST on Fridays through Sundays will process on the following Monday.
  • Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.
  • We do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.

IN-STORE PICKUP

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to assemble. We will call, text or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders must be picked up within 30 days, after which time the items will be returned to the shop and in-store credit issued under the purchaser's name.

BACKORDERS

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.

RETURNS

We hope you love your purchase from Pete's Garage, but if you don't we'll make every effort to exchange or refund your purchase. Please see below for details of our return policy:

  • All bicycle sales are FINAL.
  • Full priced items are eligible for exchage or refund within 30 days of the purchase. Eligible items must remain in new, unused condition with all original packaging intact. Proof of purchase required.
  • Sale items are eligable for in-store credit or exchange only. Proof of purchase required.
  • Closeout items or clearance items (defined as any items marked below 50% of MSRP) are FINAL SALE.
  • Specail order items are subject to a 20% restocking fee upon return.

Payment in full is required before special orders will be placed. Returns on special order items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

Warranty claims will be addressed in a manner consistent with the manufacturer's guidelines and only on items purchased at Pete's Garage. In instances where the manufacturer does not cover labor, charges will apply to execute warranty repairs.

Wolf tooth developed the chainline and material optimisation (camo) design so that you can replace your stock direct mount style chainrings with a spider and traditional chainring set up.

This spider used in conjunction with a wolf tooth chainring means that you can set up the perfect chainline for greater shifting precision, reduces the cost of future replacement chainrings and enables you to add a flash of color to your ride.

Please note that you will require a wolf tooth camo chainring to complete this system

Features:

  • Handmade in minnesota, usa by wolf tooth
  • Machined from 7075-t6 aluminum
  • ED coated steel bolts included
  • This is a spider for use with the cannondale cranksets that have a removable spider
  • Three different chainline options are available. The number and letter refer to the mm offset and direction from the mounting face to the centerline of the teeth:
  • M9 (minus 0.4 inch - standard dish towards the frame)
  • For use on standard (non-ai offset) bikes
  • M4 (minus 0.2 inch - ai offset)
  • For use on cannondale bikes with the ai (asymmetric integration) offset rear triangle and all cannondale 27.5 plus bikes
  • For use on 2x fat caad (a 6.5 inches spindle)
  • M1 (minus 0.0 inch - dished towards the frame)
  • For use on 1x fat caad bikes (a 6.3 inches spindle)
  • M1 (minus 0.0 inch - dished towards the frame)
  • Cannondale cyclocross and road bikes (38t max camo chainring)
  • AI cyclocross bikes with 6.1 inches spindle (38t max camo chainring)
  • Camo mounting bolts can be purchased separately, but all the camo spiders come with stainless steel bolts if you don't order them.
  • you will be able to access all bolts without removing the spider
  • line up the little dot on the ring with the dot on the spider. Don't worry, you cannot install the ring in the wrong rotational orientation.
  • Be sure the bosses on the spider "plug in" to the chainring.
  • Torque bolts only to 4-5 nm and use blue loctite thread locker

Note from the manufacturer: The spider itself does indeed have a 4mm offset, but the chainring has a 2mm offset in the opposite direction. So once the product is correctly installed, there is a 2mm offset in total.
